Poncé Research Group

The Electron-Phonon group is part of the Modelling (MODL) division of the Institute of Condensed Matter and Nanosciences (IMCN) at the Université catholique de Louvain led by Samuel Poncé. Our expertise is centred around the development of advanced theoretical and computational methods for designing innovative materials with applications in information transport, optoelectronics and renewable energy. We develop and unify new first-principles theories to predict various materials properties at finite temperature and implement them in free and open-source software.
